Tiffany specializes in hospitality, food and beverage, luxury lifestyle, travel, fashion and beauty, and has developed an extensive network of related media and influencer contacts.
Tiffany is also dedicated to supporting the community, and has worked with a number of charitable organizations and events including Chefs Table Society of BC, Vancouver Aquarium, Arts Umbrella, Sarah McLachlan School of Music and Children’s Wish Foundation. Gemma Bishop has a wealth of media and industry relationships. For over a decade, she has gained first-hand industry experience with a specialization in hospitality, fashion & beauty, lifestyle and travel PR.
Gemma began her career at Hawksworth Communications, a Vancouver-based public relations agency, where she worked for more than six years. There, she assisted with planning and executing strategic communications programs for top accounts such as Clinique, Rosewood Hotel Georgia, OPUS Hotel, Nita Lake Lodge, Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, and Caffè Artigiano.
Equally enthusiastic about food, wine, travel, fashion and beauty, Gemma currently represents AG Hair, Ampersand Distilling Co., Burdock & Co, Caffè La Tana, Harvest Community Foods, Osteria Savio Volpe, and Pepino’s Spaghetti House.
Also passionate about digital strategy, Gemma has mastered managing social media platforms for both agencies and clients. She is also dedicated to supporting the community, and has lent her services to local charities like Ronald McDonald House of BC, Arts Umbrella, One Girl Can, and the Children’s Wish Foundation.
Malania Dela Cruz
With over a decade spent managing national PR programs for top fashion and lifestyle brands, Malania takes a results-driven, entrepreneurial approach to exceeding business objectives.
As Agency Director at Avenue PR, she leads national accounts, acting as strategic counsel across all clientele, specializing in lifestyle, wellness and fashion.
A natural born entrepreneur, Malania owned and operated Dela Cruz PR for nine years, a boutique fashion and lifestyle PR agency based in Vancouver. She brought this savvy business sense and west coast expertise to FAULHABER Communications in 2017, when she joined the team as Director, West.
A former television producer at CBC and CityTV, Malania understands the working process with media and has developed deep relationships with journalists, content creators and KOLs across Canada, resulting in effective ROI for her clients.
By acting as a true collaborative partner, Malania has garnered a reputation for building unparalleled client satisfaction and loyalty.
Jorden Hutchison is a Vancouver-based communications professional with more than a decade overseeing the media relations and marketing communications programs for top tourism, travel and lifestyle brands.
Jorden’s passion for hospitality and tourism was ignited as a child and young adult, when she had her first taste of flying fish in Barbados, road-tripped throughout B.C. with her father and went on a backpacking adventure through Southeast Asia. After pursuing an education in marketing communications and tourism, she spent several years working for leading hotel brands such as Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Four Seasons. She then joined Tourism Vancouver in 2009 as a sales associate for the Travel Trade team, and shortly after was recruited to the Communications department where she oversaw the North American media relations portfolio for more than five years. During her time on the team, Jorden assisted with bringing over 400 print, broadcast and digital media to Vancouver annually, and planned and executed the media relations initiatives for a number of large-scale city events.
Over the past several years, Jorden’s extensive marketing communications and public relations experience has led her to oversee the PR initiatives for various world-class destinations, hotels and resorts, and culinary brands – including the Osoyoos Indian Band, Vancouver Hotel Destination Association, Destination BC, Rocky Mountaineer, Indigenous Tourism BC, Pan Pacific Whistler, Watermark Beach Resort, Pacific Sands Beach Resort, Panorama Mountain Resort and many more.
When she’s not working on destination strategy, Jorden can be found planning her next trip abroad, eating her way around the city, hiking one of Vancouver’s many trails or lounging on a sandy beach.
Marika is a French Canadian PR & digital marketing specialist who brings over seven years of local and international experience to the Avenue PR team.
She started her career in Sydney, Australia where she worked at the world-renowned communications firm, Ogilvy PR. Her love for travelling then brought her to the UK where she worked both in the digital and PR world for clients in the fashion, beauty, technology, travel, FMCG, and hospitality industries.
Settling back in Vancouver in 2016, she found herself in a position to build her own brand and represented lifestyle, fashion and beauty brands both nationally and internationally.
At Avenue PR, Marika represents top destination, hospitality and lifestyle brands including Watermark Beach Resort, Livingspace, The Josie Hotel, Fleur Wedding Show and Indigo.
Upon completing a degree in Cultural Studies at the University of British Columbia, Kelsey Millman dove enthusiastically into a public relations program at BCIT, where she graduated with distinction.
Following her schooling, she partnered with the Ladner Business Association to build and manage a tourism and shop-local initiative through social media.
Since joining Avenue PR, Kelsey has combined her deep-rooted passion for communications and media with her love for the outdoors, fully immersing herself in hospitality and travel PR. She currently represents award-winning businesses like Pacific Sands Beach Resort, Pan Pacific Whistler, JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, the DOUGLAS, an Autograph Collection Hotel, and British Columbia Hotel Association, along with popular Whistler attraction, Vallea Lumina.
Before settling in Vancouver, Russell worked in several international PR agencies. He has a wealth of experience in markets ranging from satellite communications to skincare, a global network of contacts, and a track record for creating engaging content.
A proven account manager and natural storyteller, Russell has worked alongside big brands such as 7-Eleven, Bio-Oil, and Compuware, as well as professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Having spent the majority of his career in tech, he excels in cutting through the jargon to reveal a compelling narrative that resonates with the desired audience.
Previously a freelance journalist, Russell relishes new challenges and is particularly interested in how innovation can harness, protect and predict Mother Nature. He graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BA in Journalism Studies.
Account + Digital Lead
Avery Nicholson is a storyteller by trade with a specialty in media relations and social media. After finishing her master’s degree in journalism and communications at Western University, Avery made the jump from small-town Ontario to beautiful British Columbia.
Upon her move, Avery dove headfirst into the Vancouver PR scene, representing a variety of clients ranging from food and beverage, retail and home decor.
Now in her role as Account + Digital Lead at Avenue PR, Avery showcases her passion for hospitality through representing JW Marriott Parq Vancouver, The DOUGLAS and The Josie; embraces her love for lifestyle with AG Hair, Livingspace and FLEUR; and illustrates her aptitude for food and drink with Ampersand Distilling Co.
When she’s not in the office, Avery can be found exploring the many hiking trails of B.C., listening to the latest crime podcast, or trying new and notable Okanagan wines to enjoy with friends and family.
Lena Chen moved to Vancouver in 2012 and fell in love with all things to do with the west coast - beaches, food, wine, laid-back vibes, mild weather, and of course all the friendliest dogs.
Lena has always felt impassioned by community initiatives, communication, and marketing. A graduate of the University of British Columbia with a major in Sociology and International Relations, she led the marketing and PR department for non-profit organization, IbookUnion, dedicated to providing students used textbooks at affordable prices set by students, with portion of proceeds donated to BC Children’s Hospital. Lena began her professional communication and marketing journey at The Kidney Foundation of Canada – BC Branch which led her to Mosaic Sales Solutions, where she represented recognized western Canadian food and beverage brands. Agency trained, she executed national projects in both experiential and retail marketing and today, Lena continues to expand her expertise at Avenue PR.
At Avenue PR, Lena has represented award-winning businesses including Ampersand Distilling Co., Burdock & Co, Caffe La Tana, Crowbar, Harvest Community Foods, Liquidity Wines, Pepino’s Spaghetti House, and Osteria Savio Volpe. Originally from London, England, Anna has lived in Vancouver for over a decade. While completing her degree at Montreal’s McGill University, Anna began her career with an internship at fashion PR agency, Four Publicity, in London.
After graduating in 2017, Anna completed an internship at Vancouver-based Milk Creative Communications, where she assisted on the Vancouver International Wine Festival.
At Avenue PR Anna continues to explore her love for fashion, food, travel and lifestyle with her work on clients AG Hair, Indigo, Livingspace, The Adventure Group’s Vallea Lumina, and Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon, among others.
A love for travel has taken Anna around the globe, spending time in Australia, New Zealand and weaving her way across Asia and Europe, while also having lived in London, Montreal, Geneva and Vancouver. When she’s not securing top coverage for clients you’ll find her somewhere by the ocean or exploring beautiful Vancouver.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Annabelle spent most of her adult life as a nomad, exploring and living in cities abroad. She graduated from BCIT with a focus in PR and event marketing, and has 17 years of fashion experience with a BDes from Ryerson University.
As an account coordinator at Avenue PR, Annabelle splits her time between the office and audition rooms. An avid fan of the creative arts, she found herself graduating from film school upon returning from two years abroad in London. She has since pursued a career in acting whilst maintaining a foothold in the world of PR and fashion.
When Annabelle isn’t busy organizing the world around her, you can find her documenting her exploration of the B.C. mountains, ability to eat her weight in food, and jewellery creation, with her camera.
